What exists right now
What we're building toward
The Discussion Board is still young, and we're watching closely to see what it needs next — likely candidates include lightweight moderation tools, the ability to follow a thread, and eventually a private group option for people who want a smaller, quieter circle than a public board. We'd rather grow this carefully than bolt on features fast. If you notice something that feels unsafe or unsupportive while using it, please tell us at the address below.
Other communities worth knowing about
If you're looking for a larger or more immediate community than ours, there are established pet-loss support groups on Facebook with genuinely active, well-moderated grieving communities — search "pet loss support" on Facebook to find one that feels like a fit. We've had good experiences pointing readers toward groups affiliated with the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement (APLB), which also runs moderated online chat sessions with trained facilitators.
You're also welcome to reach out to us directly at hello@pawshush.com — while we can't offer real-time community support ourselves yet, we're happy to point you toward something that might fit.
